Muslims donate water cooler to polyclinic

VISITORS TO the Winston Scott Polyclinic have access to chilled water again.

This is thanks to the donation of a water cooler to the institution by the Barbados Muslim Association.

The cooler came after a member of the Muslim community visited the Polyclinic and noticed the old cooler was not functioning.

This was brought to the attention of the association and the executive committee came up with the funds for the donation.

There to present the cooler this morning were representatives from  executive committee Abdul Mehter and Azhar Pandor.

Medical officer Dr Ingrid Cumberbatch thanked the association for the donation.

“You came, you saw a need and you addressed that need, and we appreciate that,” she said. (JJS)
