Fire and abuse victim cries out for help

Before Tamesha Griffith lost her Venture No. 2 home two Thursdays ago to a blaze, she allegedly suffered at the hands of an abusive partner.

The mother of six was so desperate to get out of the situation that two years ago, she moved into a safe house but she said her efforts to escape the abuse were to no avail.

Her former boyfriend, who is the father of her last three children, would wait for her to leave and then attack her, she told the DAILY NATION. (SB)
