It was a tour of duty which European Union Ambassador Mikael Barfod said he thoroughly enjoyed.
His assignment to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean has ended and he and his Jamaican-born wife Maxia returned to Europe where their children still reside, last Wednesday.
It was not only a diplomatic gathering, but a gathering of friends as well, when the Barfods said goodbye to Barbados at a reception hosted at their Club Morgan official residence last week. (GC)
