Walrond sent to Dodds

MURDER-ACCUSED Richan Robert Walrond is scheduled to reappear in court on October 10 after being remanded to HMP Dodds today.

The 25-year-old Back Ivy, St Michael resident was the fourth man charged in the murder of Andre Hinds of Northumberland, St Lucy.

Walrond was not required to plead when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in District A Criminal Court No. 1.

He is also facing additional charges of kidnapping, aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Reico Jabarri Akeem Hunte, 24, of Salmond, St Lucy; Romario Broomes, 18, of Checker Hall, St Lucy; and 31-year-old Corey Edwards of Greenidges, also in the same parish, were previously charged in Hinds’ murder and remanded. (PR/SAT)
