ANTOINETTE DOWNIE, who will have the honour of being the only Barbadian to grace the prestigious Olympia stage this weekend in Las Vegas, thinks she is good enough to crack the top ten of the mightiest competition in the world.

Downie will be the only female from the Caribbean flexing muscle in the women’s physique competition at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

The 37-year-old Barbadian told the MIDWEEK NATION she is excited at the chance to face 29 other world-class females, most of them coming from Europe, the United States and Canada.

“This is not going to be a stroll in the park. It will not be easy, but I am going for it. I believe I have the muscle and the condition to make the top ten.” (MK)
