Use weapons wisely, security forces told

A SHOT FIRED cannot be recalled.

That was the timely reminder given the 19 participants yesterday on the just concluded Range Instructor/Range Supervisor course at the Paragon, Christ Church-based Regional Security System (RSS).

Director Operations & Plans at the RSS, Lieutenant Colonel Glyne Grannum, yesterday urged the participants to always be conscious that they will always be responsible and accountable for the application of armed force.

He also noted that discipline was one of the “central inalienable tenets” of those tasked with providing security when it comes to weapons. (YB)
