A PREGNANT LASONTA Gill was granted $20 000 bail today when she appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
Gill and her boyfriend Dwayne Marshall are jointly charged with manslaughter in relation to Gill’s six-year-old son, Jahan King. He died on June 29, 2015.
Cuffy-Sargeant told Marshall he was ineligible for bail at this point due to an internal report involving a prison officer and an alleged threat made by the accused.
He was again remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds. (TKS)
