A ST ANDREW man is expected to appear in the District “D” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow accused of unlawful possession of a firearm and four traffic offences.

Police say 34-year-old motorcyclist Kirk Ricardo Skeete of Baxters tried to evade officers as they conducted routine checks in Greenland.

He was pursued and caught and a check allegedly revealed that he was in possession of a firearm. Police say it was also found that he had no driver’s licence or third party insurance and had not paid road taxes.

Skeete was also charged with using fraudulent licence plates. (PR/NB)
