Police appeal for information on unnatural death

POLICE ARE APPEALING for assistance with their investigations into the unnatural death of a man who was discovered at the corner of George Street and Belmont Road, St Michael this morning.

The man who appears to be in his fifties was discovered lying motionless in the roadway around 2:10 a.m. by a police mobile unit.

Police are asking anyone who may have been travelling along Belmont Road, or George Street between 1 a.m. and 2:15 a.m., or who can provide any information to contact the police emergency number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), CID Central at 430-7189, 430-7190, or the nearest police station.
