TRANSFER THEM.
The suggestion to remove the teachers from the Combermere School, who have been complaining for a foul odour which have been making them unwell for several years, came from a resident from the neigbourhood surrounding the Waterford, St Michael school.
School has been suspended for two weeks while a team set up by the Ministry of Education investigates the problem, but the woman, who did not want to be identified and several others in the vicinity, insist that they have never experienced the symptoms the teachers claim to be facing.
“This follows a closure for most of the second term last year when students were relocated to the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic and the Erdiston Teachers’ Training College. (YB)
