NEW CHAMPION driver Jeremy “Silent” Greenidge led an impressive list of winners at the annual awards presentation of the Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters (BADD) at the Vaucluse Raceway last Saturday.

On an evening that started with a low-speed drifting session, which required a helmet for open-top vehicles, chairman Jason Downey had high praise for the marshals, scrutineers, volunteers, drivers and sponsors.

He said that the weekend of November 27 would be Track Day at Bushy Park, where they would set up a drift course at the end of the track sessions.

“We are using these events as a gauge to establish competitor interest, as well as trying to figure out how best to use these two locations – Vaucluse Raceway and Bushy Park – for drift competitions in 2017,” Downey said. (TT)
