KENYAN RUNNERS HAVE dominated the Run Barbados 10K over the years but Frenchmen are starting to come into their own.

Jean Habararema of Martinique was a comfortable winner of the 2016 event yesterday, crossing the line in 31 minutes, 28.65 seconds, almost a half-minute ahead of Stephen Tanui of Kenya.

Habararema’s victory in the Colombian Emeralds International-sponsored race follows last year’s triumph by Nicolas Fernandez of France. (Barbados Nation)
