A FULL STATEMENT on the Combermere School controversy will be issued on Monday, Minister of Education Ronald Jones has promised.
His assurance came a day after parents, some bearing placards, and students, upset with the five-week closure of the Waterford, St Michael institution, delivered a letter to the ministry outlining their concerns.
Speaking to the media following the speech day and prize-giving ceremony of Ellerslie Secondary School yesterday, Jones acknowledged receipt of the correspondence, but said he did not want to address the matter in a piecemeal way.
Aside from environmental concerns, parents were also worried that some Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate School-Based Assessments (SBAs) were not graded. (WILLCOMM)
