NO ONE LIKES to pay taxes.
So imagine how Beverley Griffith felt when she was made to pay her 2015 land tax bill not once, but twice.
That was the situation which confronted the resident of Cave Hill Drive, St Lucy, when she was recently told by the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) that she would have to pay her land tax despite having already done so.
According to Griffith, the situation has caused her to be more vigilant when it comes to paying her bills.
In an interview with the WEEKEND NATION, she explained that on September 24, 2015, she visited the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) located in Heroes Square, Bridgetown, and paid her land tax bill of $250.80 as she usually did. (RB)
