Purity back on shelves

THE BUNS ARE out of the oven and back on the shelves. And this Christmas holiday Barbadians can expect to sink their teeth into their favourite Purity Bakeries bread.

Following a health inspector-ordered halt to Purity’s baking operations in early December, some supermarkets reported a shortage in their supply.

However, after recent visits to some supermarkets this week, the shelves were stocked again. 

Purchaser and a member of the management team at Channell Supermarket, Barbara Edwards, confirmed the shortage following Purity’s problems but she said they were back on track. (TG)
