RASHEED HAYNES,28, was called a bully by the court yesterday over a dispute with a sno-cone vendor who had given back a customer wrong change.
Haynes, of 5th Avenue, Alkins Land, Eagle Hall, St Michael, pleaded guilty to damaging a beach umbrella belonging to Dizai Worrell and assaulting him on January 15.
The District “A” Magistrates’ Court heard that Worrell, a sno-cone vendor, was plying his trade along Eagle Hall when Haynes began shouting aggressively about another customer’s demand.
Worrell eventually refunded the customer, but Haynes, armed with a stone, followed him and threw it at him. The vendor ignored him and continued serving his customers but Haynes approached and damaged the umbrella attachedto the cart. (TKS)
