“Follow the directional arrows in life and you will be successful.”
THIS QUOTE SPRANG into my mind as I conducted research for this article. Let me relate my story about the above statement.
Last week, my attention was drawn continually to the logo of the Toyota brand as I travelled. Eventually, I decided to do extensive research because I wanted to empower myself about the hidden spiritual meaning.
As I googled and read its history, I became more aware of the coincidences and insights which we daily encounter. However, what appealed to me was the syllables of toy-o-ta. The toy caught my attention and took me back into the time tunnel.
As a little girl when my parents gave me toys, I was extremely happy. Playing with my toys created a safe space, provided the time to use my creativity, offered quiet time and allowed time for magical, daydream voyages.
How many of us are happy? How many of us find time to play? Play is very important as we go through these stressful psychological and economic times. For me, playing involves participation in fun activities. These activities should make us laugh, feel connected to those who are playing with us and provide a safe space for us to feel free to express ourselves.
Having fun is one of the most natural ways to make people happy and contented.
A bumble bee also came into my space last week and this reminded me of nectar. Silent doctor agave nectar comes from the agave plant that is related to yucca. This plant is widely grown in Mexico and the honey-like nectar sap comes from the leaves of the plant.
Agave nectar is a natural sweetener. On the webpage www.sheknows.com it states: “According to Dr Sahelian, saponins, which are found on quinoa and many plant roots, including ginseng, have anti-inflammatory and immune system-boosting properties, including antimicrobial capability.”
Agave nectar also contains a complex form of fructose called inulin. The website further states: “Studies suggest that inulin can be effective in weight loss because of its low impact on blood sugar and its ability to increase satiety and decrease appetite. Inulin is also associated with lowering cholesterol and reducing the risk of certain cancers.”
Readers who are diabetics can conduct extensive research about this plant to investigate claims of its low glycemic level.
Finally, the words for this week are toy and play. Play more and stop being so stuck-up and uptight because life is created to be enjoyable. Let us affirm: “I will find a toy and play more because happiness is what I crave.”
