PORT OF SPAIN – The United States and Trinidad and Tobago will continue to work on matters related to security and trade.
This was the outcome of a conversation between Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and US President Donald Trump on Sunday afternoon, shortly before 5 p.m. (local time).
Other issues of mutual interest to the twin island republic and the US were also placed on the table.
A release from the Prime Minister’s office on Sunday said Trump acknowledged that both countries have had a close working relationship which will continue to be strengthened. (CMC)
