IF MOTORISTS HIT it, insurance companies should pay to fix it.
That is the view of Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce and Small Business Development Donville Inniss, as it relates to some of the damaged light poles along the island’s highways.
While admitting that Government needed to urgently fix the lights on the highways, he contended that in many cases motorists were responsible for damaging those lights.
However, Inniss lamented that Government regularly had to foot the bill to get them repaired. (RB)
