LOUD SOBS told of the grief of a St George family that lost a grandson to an early morning car crash.
Chad Calvin Butcher, 20, of Waverly Cot, became the 13th person to die on the nation’s roads this year when the car he was driving struck an embankment, causing him to lose control and crash into the guard wall outside the National Sports Council on My Lord’s Hill, St Michael.
The accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. yesterday.
Butcher, an employee with All Sorts company and stationed at Banks Breweries, had to be cut from the wreckage by Fire Service personnel. (CA)
