Bajan missing in Trinidad

THE LURE OF ONE of the Caribbean’s largest carnivals has left a Barbadian family in despair after a loved one disappeared while attending the festival.

Kenville Noel Clarke, 34, joined the thousands jumping in the recent Trinidad Carnival, but never returned from the twin-island republic, and neither friends nor relatives have heard from him since mid-February.

His older sister Gale Clarke made an appeal yesterday from the family home in Foul Bay, St Philip, for anyone who might have information about the motorcycle lover’s whereabouts to come forward.

She heard reports out of Trinidad that Kenville had gone on a boat outing with other men on either February 15 or 16 and never returned. (TG)
