Two shot at Eden Lodge

TWO ST MICHAEL men were shot around 7 p.m. Tuesday night while at Middle Lane, Eden Lodge, St Michael.

Shawn Payne, 43, of Nursery Lane, Eden Lodge was shot in his thigh and buttocks while Claude Allsopp, 38, of Whitehall received a gunshot injury to his left arm.

Police say the two victims were playing dominoes with other men and they went to a nearby shed to shelter from the rain. 

While standing under the shed, a number of loud explosions were suddenly heard and Payne and Allsopp realised they were injured.

They were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicles.
