WILDEY MASTERS retained their title as kings of the Kola Kick Barbados Masters football knockout competition with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over SubZero Services LIME Masters in the final at Deacons Farm last Sunday.

Playing in front of a huge crowd, Wildey took the lead early in the first half through a Kenroy Skinner header from a corner kick taken by former Barbados stalwart Gregory Goodridge.

LIME Masters replied late in the half through a goal by David Chandler. With time running out, Man Of The Match Paul Straughn popped up in the attack to supply Wildey Masters with the winning goal.

In the preceding game, Branker Enterprises Benfica also defeated Wadadah a 2-1 margin to win the League title. The result left Wadadah in third position with Wildey holding on to their second place. (EZS)
