Belfield get a leg-up

THE TEAM that came last in the just concluded Digicel Premier League gave themselves a shot at redemption on Thursday night at the Wildey AstroTurf.

Belfield beat Division 1 team Youth Milan 2-0 to claim the high ground in the relegation play-offs.

The team from Black Rock got their priceless goals through Henry Richards in the 20th minute and Jamar Grazette in the 38th.

Belfield’s three points looked like a gold mine after the other match, between Waterford Compton and Silver Sands, ended in a 2-2 draw. (PR)
