A MAN WILL spend 11 more years in jail but for the rest of his life he will have to live with the fact that he took the life of his daughter’s mother.

Justice Michelle Weekes handed down the decision in the manslaughter case yesterday in the No.2 Supreme Court.

On May 5, 2016, Jerrick Samuel Tudor, 29, of Black Rock Main Road, St Michael, pleaded guilty to killing Krystal Lovell on December 1, 2013.

The judge started at 20 years and discounted five years for mitigating factors. From the remanding 15 years Tudor’s remand time of three years, 200 days was subtracted, leaving 11 years 165 days. (TKS)
