Parents happy with transfers

WITH ONE CHAPTER in their children’s school lives closed, some parents of former Alma Parris Memorial students are eagerly looking forward to the new school term.

They expressed this sentiment following another meeting at the Ministry of Education’s Constitution Road, St Michael headquarters yesterday morning.

That meeting was much smaller than the one held last Thursday where around 50 people attended, as only a handful of parents were present.

The main focus of the 45-minute meeting was to discuss placement plans for their children following the sudden closure of Alma Parris two weeks ago. (RB)
