Bajans on CWI committees

A NUMBER of Barbadians will serve on the 12 committees assembled by Cricket West Indies (CWI) to provide policy guidelines for the daily operations of the regional body’s secretariat over the next two years.

In a release yesterday, CWI listed committees for finance; audit, risk and compliance; human resources development; cricket; umpires and match referees; commercial affairs – marketing, business development and communications and international fixtures.

Other committees are the disciplinary tribunal; ethics; medical; corporate governance and nominations as well as a panel comprising chief executives, which will be headed by CWI chief executive officer, Johnny Grave and includes Barbados Cricket Association’s (BCA) CEO Noel “Barney” Lynch. 

Long-serving BCA board member Conde Riley will chair the human resources development committee while acting BCA president Deighton Smith is a member of the finance committee, which will be chaired by CWI director, Ananad Kalladeen. (EZS)
