A ST MICHAEL man and woman were remanded to HMP Dodds prisons yesterday after appearing in court on an ammunition charge.

Shamar Recardo James, 31, of Murphy’s Pasture and Shannon Alexandrea Clarke, 21, of Chapman Lane are accused of having two rounds of ammunition on July 12.

They were not required to plead to the indictable charge yesterday in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

James is also accused of possessing, supplying and trafficking cannabis on the same date.

Another charge against him indicates that he engaged in money laundering, being in possession of $12 349.60 and $80, the proceeds of crime. That offence also allegedly occurred on July 12.

Both accused were remanded by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant until August 11. (TKS)
