The front house of Suzet Cox’s wooden home was damaged just after 1 p.m. after a car ran into the building.

The car, which turned over as a result of the impact, was driven by a man who did not identify himself.

Cox, who was at work when the accident occurred, said it left her feeling upset and complained of a headache.

The mother of two, a six-month-old son and an eight-year-old daughter, said that in spite of her discomfort, she was grateful her oldest child was not injured. Her uncle Edwin Clirmonte had taken the child across the street to her aunt, five minutes before the accident occurred. (SB)
