It is always good when you can go to a cooler fete and get live performances.
Last week Wednesday night at the picturesque and lush lawns of Sugarland Gardens, St Peter, Edwin Yearwood, Peter Ram, veterans Biggie Irie and RPB, upcoming artiste Jus D, Faith Callender, Leadpipe & Saddis, Nikita and Marvay had many people letting loose. The event was Xhosa’s We Don’t Pose We Party cooler fete.
De Red Boyz started the violence-free fete and International Bashment Soca winner Lil Rick ended it.
He hoped his two songs Sugar Lump and Mudda Sally would be the hottest songs on the road come next week Monday, Grand Kadooment Day.
“I want first and second in any order [for Tune Of The Crop],” he said.
The crowd was a good size for the venue; and seen milling and enjoying herself was Prime Minister Mia Mottley. (TG)
