BARVEN threat

The children at Grantley Adams Memorial School have gone silent, but the noise isn’t over yet.

Alistair Alexander, president of the Barbados Association of Retailers, Vendors and Entrepreneurs (BARVEN), is calling on Prime Minister Mia Mottley to intervene and solve the issue involving the vendors, or feel the full wrath of his forces.

He made the comments as he spoke to the only vendor, out of the four, who was outside the Blackmans, St Joseph school on Monday during lunch time.

“I will be sending correspondence to the Prime Minister today. BARVEN is clear, we will fight. We will escalate this if necessary. This has now begun as far as BARVEN is concerned,” Alexander warned. (MB)
