It was supposed to be another night of fellowship and fun Wednesday night at Jonzy’s Variety in Well Gap, Cave Hill, St Michael.

Instead, it turned into a night of terror as a masked gunman invited himself to the lime, shoved a gun into a patron’s face and later fired shots into the night.

While recounting the ordeal on Thursday, shop owner Curtis Jones said he suspected the perpetrator had help.

“Around 8 p.m., we was here and a masked gunman appear,” he said.

Jones said that at first, the group did not take the gunman seriously, but that quickly changed when the masked man made a motion like he was going to shoot, shoving his gun into one of the patron’s faces. (CA)
