Barbados to host Pan Am Wrestling

Barbados has secured the bid to host the Pan American Beach Wrestling Championships next year.

President of the Barbados Wrestling Association, Rollins Alleyne, told NATIONSPORT though staging the competition was a huge undertaking, doing so would certainly bring the island great visibility.

“It will be a major milestone for Barbados and the Barbados Wrestling Association. It will bring visibility to the sport and I am sure a lot more people will become interested in the sport.” (RG)
