One local football team is set to have a massive payday and the most valuable player will drive home a brand new motor car.

This is because the Barbados Football Association (BFA) will stage the inaugural Capelli Super Cup tournament, with the winning team walking away with a first place cash prize in the region of $50 000.

BFA president Randy Harris confirmed the news on Thursday to THE NATION during a telephone interview.

“The BFA, in an effort to improve football competition in Barbados will have a Super Cup,” he said. (AGB)
