How Juniors will appear

When the Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch competition takes place next Saturday, July 20, at the Wildey Gymnasium, 19 contestants will sing for supremacy.

It is expected to be a keen contest in the three age categories, but particularly among the 15- to 18-year-olds, two of whom are in their last contest at this level.

The order of appearance is as follows:

Category 6-10
1. Lil Jazz – Ah Too Little

2. LeAndre – Big Ambitions

3. DJ – My Time

4. Dazzle – Parents Take Care

5. Riyah B – Indiscipline

6. Mighty Bit Bit – In The
Style Of Old Calypso

The reserve is Kimmy T – Screen Time.

Category 11-14

1. Xavier – Reduce Reuse Recycle

2. Star Diamond – Too Young

3. Soca Gem – Wake Up Barbados

4. Yonte – I Want To Sing Calypso

5. Mhizz Kibabba – Her Story

6. Browne Star – Broken Families [Defending Monarch]

7. Shontae – Stop De Violence

There is no reserve as there was a tie.

Category 15-18

1. Miracle – The Voice

2. Raanan – Dust Dem Out

3. Quon – Smart [Defending Monarch]

4. Yahandje – We Reality

5. De Overcomer – Last
