The redevelopment of the Blue Horizon Hotel will be done in two phases.

Phase 1 is slated to take place on a property at the rear of the hotel that has not been in use for over 15 years.

Yesterday, Mark Hodkinson of Blue Tourism Inc., the company undertaking the development of the Rockley, Christ Church hotel, took members of the media on a tour of the property for an inspection of the building that will be demolished first.

Hodkinson explained that the building, which was once used as rooms for guests, had several structural defects and could not be saved.  (MB)
