Utility pole down near Ilaro Court

A downed utility pole and electric wires forced traffic diversions of arteries leading to the area of Ilaro Court, St Michael, today.

According to police, the incident was caused by a container truck traveling in the area.

No injuries were reported, but the road was impassable and traffic was being diverted from Bussa Roundabout and Two Mile Hill.

A crew from the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited was on site fixing the problem.

All motorists are asked to seek alternative routes. (PR/SAT)
