New Fire Station Coming

A NEW FIRE STATION is on the cards.

This was revealed by Minister of Home Affairs Edmund Hinkson during a service at Bethel Methodist Church, Bay Street, St Michael, yesterday.

“Cabinet has decided in principle on the construction of a new fire station [at] The Pine, St Michael, opposite the Ann Hill School . . . ,” he said. “Geo-technical work, surveying and all of that have to be carried out in the area. And there is other preliminary work that needs to done before advertisements can go for professional services. (SB)
