The Barbados JetBlues signed off from the Rugby Barbados World 7s with a win and a loss on the second and final day of action at Kensington Oval yesterday.
The Barbados team fell to Roots Rugby Family by a narrow margin (14-12) before whipping Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force 40-12 in their final game.
Head coach Joe Whipple was pleased with his team’s performance over the two days, especially considering their age and tenacity.
“We had two very strong games yesterday [Friday] and I thought we played a good game against Atlantis, even though it was a very close loss,” he said. (NM)
