Police responded to a number of reports of shots being fired in at least four districts on the outskirts of The City, St Michael this evening.
No one was injured, they said.
So far the lawmen are checking in Green Park Lane, New Orleans, Kensington New Road and Lightfoot Cross Road.
A resident from Lightfoot Cross Road said that a number of shots were heard just before police descended on the densely populated area. (AC)
