Businessman carjacked

BUSINESSMAN yesterday endured a horrifying two-and-a-half hours at the hands of armed bandits who ambushed him when he stopped his Mercedes Benz at a junction in St Philip.

Reports indicate that a group of men who were travelling in another vehicle pulled up next to him,

got out of their car and rushed at him with guns at the ready as he sat shocked in his vehicle.

They demanded money from him and when he said he did not have any, they ordered him to take them to his home, saying they were sure he would have cash there.

A friend of the businessman told the DAILYNATIONyesterday that at the time of the attack
he was on his way to the Sol gas station at Six Roads, St Philip, which he operates.
