A SMALL field of seven horses will contest the feature Louis Corbin Memorial Trophy Handicap for three-year olds and older horses rated 80-60 over 1 100 metres when the Barbados Turf Club’s sixth day of racing swings into action tomorrow at the Garrison Savannah.
The day, titled Honouring Former Barbados Turf Club Employees Race day, is set to get going at 2 p.m. with the feature which is also open to horses rated 59 and below, being the third of the seven races on the programme.
Topping the weight scale here is Lewin Godding’s out-of-form mare Lune De Barachois, who is burdened to take 130 pounds. Despite the weight, her class with this crop should be enough to keep her in the thick of things.
Run For Your Money is next in line, shouldering 123 pounds. His form has been good enough for him to be involved in the shake-up. (LY)
