MADRID (AP) – Two goals by Neymar and one from Luis Suarez gave Barcelona a 3-1 victory over ten-man Villarreal on Wednesday and a place in the final of the Copa del Rey football competition.

Barcelona advanced 6-2 on aggregate after winning the first leg by the same scoreline.

Villarreal began by pressing forward but Barcelona struck first with an inspired pass by Lionel Messi that Neymar lobbed over goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo in the third minute.

Jonathan dos Santos equalised for Villarreal in the 39th when he buried Jaume Costa’s pass to the far post.

But Villarreal went a man down in the 65th after a red card for Tomas Pina.

Suarez sidestepped a defender and Asenjo to score in the 73th and Neymar headed in a pinpoint cross from Xavi Hernandez in the 88th.
