“DOLLY PARTON” was in the house and so was an atmosphere of love with a sea of red and white, the majestic Concorde aircraft towering above – all part of the gala red dress affair the Heart and Stroke Foundation staged on Valentine’s night.

The Concorde Experience was transformed with lighting and seating for lovers who simply wanted to enjoy the evening sipping a cocktail and taking to the dance floor in between.

The red dress gala, a fundraiser for the foundation, featured the country and western act of  singer Sherry Gordon, who did a good impersonation of Parton.

Patrons paused to be photographed on the red carpet as some sampled the goodies from the chocolate fountain, and for VIP patrons there was dinner.

MC Alff Padmore kept the evening upbeat, with performers such as calypsonian Blood quickening the tempo and DJ Chilly controlling the mood.
