ENCOURAGED BY THE PERFORMANCE of the Under-15 players in the recent World Cadet Challenge, Barbados will be seeking to build on the development programme put in place to prepare the junior players for that international event.
That’s the intention of president of the Barbados Table Tennis Association Ray Jackman, who spoke to MIDWEEKSPORT at a cocktail reception held at the Table Tennis Centre, Nursery Drive, Friday night. Jackman had earlier addressed players, officials, fans and sponsors at the event held in honour of the “Friends of Table Tennis.”
The cocktail reception was conceptualised primarily to say thanks to sponsors and others whose combined efforts contributed to the successful hosting of the International Table Tennis Federation’s WCC from October 23 to November 1, 2014.
