POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged Wendell Nathaniel Goddard with serious bodily harm in connection with a cutlass attack yesterday.

Goddard, 39, of Cutting Road, Haggatt Hall, St Michael, is accused of attacking Marva Ward of the same address.

The incident reportedly occurred around 7 a.m. after Ward was on her way home from taking her daughter to a friend, who usually takes the child to school.

Goddard reportedly chopped her about the hands and body and Ward was in critical condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Goddard is scheduled to appear in District “A” Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
