Mayers sent to Dodds

Peter Ricardo Mayers will be back in court on May 22.

The 40-year-old of My Lord’s Hill, St Michael, pleaded not guilty to two charges when he appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sergeant in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today.

He was remanded to HMP Dodds.

He was charged with assaulting Sophia Mayers on December 15 last year occasioning her actual bodily harm, and on March 7 this year, with using threatening words with intent to cause Jelissa Mayers to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used towards her.

Mayers was not required to plead to the charges of possession of a 9mm pistol, possession of ten rounds of ammunition, possession of 12 cannabis wrappings and cultivation of 12 cannabis plants. (PR/SAT)
