For a little more than 20 years, Dudley Selman and some of his closest friends would take an early morning swim together.
That pilgrimage to the popular Miami Beach in Enterprise, Christ Church, turned tragic yesterday, when Selman was declared dead on the sand moments after he and his friends started their traditional swim.
Selman, of Ealing Park, Christ Church, leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Ermine, and daughters Chantel and Michelle.
A disheartened Ermine told the DAILY NATION yesterday that she was still half-asleep when Dudley left for the beach yesterday morning around 6:30. It was the last time she would hear his voice. (BA)
