Columbus’ challenge

Competition in the local telecommunications market is about to explode with the takeover of TeleBarbados by Columbus International Inc – the company that operates FLOW in Jamaica, Trinidad, Grenada, Curacao and The Bahamas.
And immediately, Columbus has thrown down the gauntlet to competitors like Cable & Wireless and Digicel, saying that it had $225 million to spend right now to grow TeleBarbados and offer new services, drive down prices in Barbados, and create hundreds of new telecom jobs.
TeleBarbados is expected to be renamed under the FLOW brand after the deal is completed.
 Columbus is an international business company, headquartered in The Bahamas and its registered corporate office is in Barbados.
