Woman, 76, remanded

The elderly woman charged with human trafficking offences has been remanded.
Police report that 76-year-old Joan Fernandez, of St Michael, appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday and was remanded until May 6 when she will face the District “B” Magistrates’ Court.
It was reported that Fernandez was unable to make bail as her surety was insufficient.
